چکیده
Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, is spreading rapidly throughout world, causing many deaths and severe economic damage. It believed that hot humid conditions do not favor coronavirus, yet this still under debate due to uncertainties associated with data. Here we propose surrogate data tests examine preference of virus spread different climate conditions. We find, mainly studying relative number deaths, disease significantly (above 95% confidence level) more common when temperature ∼10 °C, humidity ∼60%, specific ∼5 g kg −1 , ultraviolet radiation less than ∼50 kJ m −2 (per hour). also but significantly, high wind weak low strong. results are supported based on global regional data, spanning time period from January December 2020. includes daily reported new cases deaths; for both, population size either taken into account or ignored.

Performance of Air Foam Flooding under Low Frequency Vibration
Foam injection is widely applied in amounts of fields to drilling, production, and formation protection. Sometimes, the application result is disappointing, which is caused by the failure of bubble generation in foam flooding. Therefore, it is necessary to seek ways for improving the performance of foam injection. An increased disturbance to the stratum, like the vibration caused by a seismic o...

The high flux of cosmic rays onto the unshielded surface of Mars poses a significant hazard to the survival of martian microbial life. Here, we determined the survival responses of several bacterial strains to ionizing radiation exposure while frozen at a low temperature characteristic of the martian near-subsurface. Novel psychrotolerant bacterial strains were isolated from the Antarctic Dry V...
متن کاملEffects of ultraviolet (UV) irradiation in air and under vacuum on low-k dielectrics
This work addresses the issue as to whether ultraviolet radiation of wavelengths longer than 200 nm can break Si-CH3 bonds in porous low-k dielectrics. To resolve this issue, porous SiCOH films (k = 2.3) were exposed to 4.9 eV (254 nm) ultraviolet (UV) radiation in both air and vacuum for 1 hour. Using Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, the chemical structures of the dielectric fil...
متن کاملDetection of low Intraperitoneal Air
Perforation of a hollow viscus is an acute abdominal drama and the accurate diagnosis highly depends on demonstration of free intrapritoneal air. The importance of adequate examination in the demonstration of ,tiny amount ()ff air is stressed and the value of an upright chest film when the horizontal beam is tangential to the top of the diaphragm is mentioned. Before standing for chest x-ray t...
